Small material size is always good for charcoal briquette making before you make your charcoal briquettes, please check all of your charcoal fine with the proper size. We recommend you the size under 3mm for making good quality charcoal briquette.
▲ Moisture
Charcoal materials with a moisture content of around 10-15% are most suitable for the charcoal molding process, and the energy costs during the molding process are low. High moisture creates dense briquettes.
▲ Briquettes with adhesive
Charcoal is a material that completely lacks plasticity, so binding or coalescing materials need to be added to form briquettes. Therefore, the binder becomes a very important factor in the charcoal molding process. Pure charcoal is smokeless and odorless when burned. The purpose of the charcoal determines the type of binder used, and for industrial uses the choice of binders will be wider.

starch, clay, slime, tar and pitch, molasses, resin, animal manure, sulphite liquor residues, etc.

It is possible to add material to aid combustion of briquettes such as waxes, sodium nitrate, and so on, during manufacture to give a more acceptable product.
Usage of some common additives: brown coal (heat source), mineral carbon (heat source), borax, sodium nitrate (ignition aid), limestone (ash-whitening agent), raw sawdust (ignition aid).

Drying Oven

Charcoal Briquette Dryer is a kind of tray type dryer, it is used to reduce the moisture of charcoal briquette. Usually, after briquetting, there will be 25%-30% moisture, this makes the charcoal can not be sold or used directly. And under normal temperature, it will need 2-5 days to dry. In order to solve this problem, we designed this charcoal drying machine. It can reduce the moisture to less than 3%.

As our these years experience of charcoal briquettes drying, temperature inside the dryer shall be around 70-85 degree, and drying time depends on your briquettes moisture content! For example, normally the moisture is around 30%-35%, the drying time shall be around 4 hours or 4 hours half, or it can not be complete dried!
Shisha charcoal briquettes sorting machine
This sorting machine can be widely used in the shisha charcoal packaging line for sorting briquettes together for fast packaging. This equipment is mainly composed of two parts: the feeding part, and the automatic distribution device. When the shisha charcoal tablets are put into the feeding plate, they will be transported up at an even speed. During the transporting process, the laborers can pick out the broken briquettes from the feeding plate. Then, the automatic distribution device of this sorting machine will dispense 10 pieces of the hookah briquettes as a group for packaging for each batch. The number of charcoal briquettes for each group can be customized.
